This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms that apply to tuition sessions, subscriptions, educational programmes, residential courses, and other services provided by Medscience Education. Our aim is to provide a fair, transparent, and consistent approach for all learners and families.

Introduction

By enrolling in any Medscience Education service, you agree to the refund and cancellation terms outlined in this policy.

These terms help us manage staff scheduling, programme planning, and limited course availability while ensuring fairness for all participants.

General Principles

Our refund policy is designed to support:

• Fair access to limited programme places.

• Efficient tutor scheduling and resource planning.

• Transparent booking and payment practices.

• Consistent treatment of all learners and clients.

Tuition Sessions

Cancellation by the Client

• More than 24 hours' notice: The session may be rescheduled or credited for future use.

• Less than 24 hours' notice: The session is non-refundable and cannot normally be rescheduled.

Cancellation by Medscience Education

If we need to cancel a scheduled tuition session, you will be offered:

• A full refund, or

• A replacement session at a mutually agreed time.

Subscription Memberships

This policy applies to all recurring membership plans, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and any future subscription packages.

Monthly Subscriptions

• May be cancelled by providing 30 days' written notice.

• No refunds are available for any partial month already used.

Annual Subscriptions

• Eligible for cancellation within the 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

• After the cooling-off period, refunds may be considered on a pro-rata basis at the discretion of Medscience Education.

Courses & Educational Programmes

This includes GCSE, A-Level, STEM programmes, university preparation, CPD courses, and other structured educational programmes.

Before the Course Begins

• A full refund is available where cancellation is received at least 7 days before the course start date.

After the Course Begins

• Refunds are generally not available once teaching has commenced.

• Exceptions may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Intensive Exam Academies

This applies to Weekend, After-School, Holiday, and Half-Term Exam Academies.

• Bookings are generally non-refundable once confirmed.

• Transfers to another available programme may be offered at our discretion and subject to availability.

Online Courses & Digital Learning Resources

For online courses, recorded lessons, and digital resources:

• Access is provided immediately following enrolment.

• Once access has been granted, refunds are not normally available unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

Special Circumstances

Refund requests may be reviewed individually in exceptional situations, including:

• Medical emergencies.

• Family emergencies.

• Verified safeguarding concerns.

• Exceptional personal circumstances.

Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.

Payment Disputes

If you experience any issues relating to payments, refunds, or billing, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Our team will work with you to resolve any concerns as quickly as possible.
